Located at the picturesque Farndon Marina, Knots Bar & Restaurant stands out as a unique culinary destination. Housed in a converted ferry, this venue boasts an inviting atmosphere combined with quality dining. Patrons rave about the top-notch pub grub, particularly highlighting the mouthwatering burgers and exceptional onion rings that some have described as the best they've ever had. The Sunday roast has also garnered praise, with diners relishing every bite of their three-course meals, affirming the restaurant's commitment to serving locally sourced ingredients.

Overall, Knots is recognized as a charming spot ideal for both casual drinks and satisfying meals, attracting visitors who enjoy a blend of atmosphere, quality fare, and friendly hospitality.
Knots bar has top class pub grub, it's just a shame you cannot get to it off the toe path, as farndon marina has fenced it off and the gate is fob only.I was asked how to get to it by passing people they decided just to go to the next bar on the toe path as it was easier.
Absolutely brilliant. The burger was as good as I've had and the onion rings might have been better! And as for value for money, this meal was just amazing.
Very unusual place for a bar and restaurant on a converted ferry, but full of character. Excellent Sunday lunch with locally sourced beers (Milestone) and great service. What more could you ask for?
It's great to go for a drink. I did not have food there, but I've heard it's great.
We had Sunday roast 3 course. Everything was so tasty, we ate every bit of it and enjoyed it so much. Will definitely go again. Service was fantastic too.
A little gem of a place. Food is usually excellent and service is good. At busy times it can take a while to get served at the bar.Drink selection is good. Food selection is good. Definitely recommend Sunday roast and fish and chips on Fridays. They have now reintroduced Pie and a Pint on Thursday which is excellentIf you haven't already been then I would suggest giving Knots a try, you won't be disappointed
I took my father in law for his first visit on Sunday. He had the 3 course Sunday lunch. His words were " best homemade Sunday lunch he's ever had eating out loved it all but especially the homemade Yorkshire Puddin nice and brown on the outside soft on the inside. He would have had two puddings if I wasn't paying !!! Great meal Great service he's coming again ( but he's paying )
Enjoyable visit. Staff friendly. For me I would have preferred the batter on the fish a bit crisper
